A fountain of burning jade rose from the river, the blast so bright he had to shield his eyes. Plumes of fire thirty and forty feet high danced upon the waters, crackling and hissing. For a few moments they washed out the screams. There were hundreds in the water, drowning or burning or doing a little of both. Do you hear them shrieking, Stannis? Do you see them burning? This is your work as much as mine.
Because, ‘Merica, that’s why.
This. Captain Rogers, I salute you and everyone else who protects our freedom on a daily basis.
Oh and how could I forget the Greatest American, Captain Steve Rogers.

Rich: You should come home with me, let’s spend the night together. I mean, we won’t do anything, we’ll just keep each other company.
Jessa: *shakes head*
Rich: I’m sick.
Jessa: No, I’m sick. I can’t do this kind of thing anymore.
The resolution of this plot line was so much more real and wonderful than I could have imagined.
Uncle Lou, who fought in France during WWII
Grandpa Carrigan, who was in the Navy and was lucky enough to be out on maneuvers during Pearl Harbor. Not so lucky to have to wade through the wreckage and pull out the bodies of his friends.
My cousin Sean, who served in Iraq as an MP and is going to Afghanistan soon.
My cousin Darren, a Marine who no longer serves due to an injury. He hopes to become a fireman.
So, uh, happy memorial day, I guess.
Thanks for that, Lena. <3
Also, thanks for the “You don’t want to know me” mini monologue from Adam.
Such a good show.
OH and the triumphant return of Elijah! I want him to be a main cast member oh please oh please oh please.
1. I like to treat people like people.
2. I like to treat people I don’t agree with like people.
3. I own up to my mistakes
I think the day I knew I became an adult was a month or so ago when I dented a person’s car, and walked up to their door to talk to them about it face to face.
Hopefully, I’ll have more to come…
